Will: hablar del futuro
Usamos will para expresar creencias o predicciones sobre el futuro, decisiones tomadas en el momento, promesas, ofrecimientos y peticiones. En español puede corresponder a terminaciones como -é: cantaré, jugaré, bailaré.
- Prediction: It will rain tomorrow.
- Decision now: I’ll take it! / I’ll buy it!
- Belief: She won’t go to the party. I know her.
- Promise: Mum! I promise I won’t be naughty again!
- Offer: I’ll help you with your bags.
- Request: Will you help me?
Affirmative: will + base verb
I will work. → I’ll work.
Sin to y sin -s: She will dance.
Negative: will not / won’t
I won’t buy that computer. It’s very expensive.
Interrogative: will + subject + base verb?
Will you marry me? · Will she come tomorrow?
